What you’ll do The Field Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Pronto’s autonomous technology on heavy equipment at a mining site in Saudi Arabia. This role will support the on-site deployment of Pronto’s autonomous systems. The position requires strong electrical and mechanical skills and comfort working in outdoor industrial environments. Installation & Deployment Perform on-site installation of Pronto hardware and software solutions, including sensor systems, DBW kits, power integration, and vehicle interfaces. On-site installation of peripheral hardware such as network stations, gate systems, and office infrastructure. Conduct system calibrations and validation tests to ensure installations meet operational standards. Collaborate with Engineering and Customer teams to ensure field deployments align with specifications and best practices, as well as collaborating on R&D projects. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure system health, reliability, and long-term performance. Monitor and log equipment conditions, identifying signs of wear, degradation, or environmental impacts Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
