Position Summary: The Field Engineer position fills a critical support role within our unique company’s Construction Department; supporting the PM and General Supt. and assisting in the administrative functions on multi-million-dollar construction projects. The Field Engineer is also exposed to the entire life-cycle of major construction projects from estimating and bidding through punch list and project close-out. As you are developed in this role, we will add more responsibilities as you demonstrate a solid understanding of assigned tasks and continually execute assigned deliverables. Essential Functions: BID PACKAGES Bid Package Preparation Assist PM to create scopes of work. Create Bid Packages as necessary. Notify contractors of pending bid packages to generate interest or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work with computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook, and to learn others as needed.
