field-based position, requiring travel and extended out-of-town work to various sites across the country, Ability to work extended rotations and travel to project sites as required, Background checks and Drug & Alcohol testing will be required as part of employment, Rotational schedules including (but not limited to) 14 days on / 7 days off shifts
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma, or Power Systems Electrician Journeyman certification, 4+ years of commissioning leadership experience within utility or MV/HV environments, hands-on relay testing and commissioning experience, Experience working with substations, protection & control systems, and utility infrastructure, troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities, communication and leadership skills, Ability to work extended rotations and travel to project sites as required, legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada, valid driver’s licence with clean abstract
Nice to Have
Experience with Omicron testing equipment is considered a asset
