What You'll Do.

Ensure all irrigation and nutrient feeding requirements are followed

Performs installation

and repair of irrigation systems

Operates power equipment and hand tools to install

and repair irrigation systems and related components

Develop nutrient programs

Maintain strategy for crop irrigation and feeding schedules

Ensure irrigation plan is appropriately implemented and maintained

Maintain inventory of all chemicals and fertilizers

Ensure fertilizer concentrate tanks are filled adequately

Make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule

Respond to system alarms and diagnose/troubleshoot issues

Write and execute Standard Operating Procedures related to fertigation

Performs regular calibration of nutrient testing instruments

Monitor soil moisture content of the crop

and obtain water samples for testing

Direct employees’ daily tasks

Train team members on new and updated SOPs

Drive production goals

Ensure tasks are being completed safely and per the SOP

Address employee concerns and administer disciplinary action

Provide policy updates

Recommend staff members for advancement or promotions

Assist with interviews and hiring

Job Title: Fertigation Supervisor Pay: $57,000 per year Location: Chambersburg, PA Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:15AM to 3:45PM. POSITION SUMMARY: The Fertigation Supervisor will ensure all irrigation and nutrient feeding requirements are followed accordingly for both sides of the Webster cultivation facility. Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. Operates power equipment and hand tools to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and related components, including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop nutrient programs with the Cultivation Manager to ensure strain-specific needs are met · Maintain strategy for crop irrigation and feeding schedules · Work closely with the growing team to ensure irrigation plan is appropriately implemented and maintained · Partner with Cultivation Manager to maintain inventory of all chemicals and fertilizers on site · Ensure fertilizer concentrate tanks are filled adequately  · Make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule · Respond to system alarms and diagnose/troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively · Take measurements, record data, and observations for all grow rooms · Write and execute Standard Operating Procedures related to fertigation · Performs regular calibration of nutrient testing instruments · Monit
