What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Ontario, 3 - 5 years related work experience, Experience in stress analysis of piping, Experience in stress analysis using ANSYS Mechanical, Basic knowledge of mechanical and nuclear piping systems
Nice to Have
Qualified or eligible to be qualified as ASME Appendix XXIII, Nuclear industry experience, Site experience in construction or commissioning, Design engineering experience in nuclear Class 1/2/3 piping systems, Working knowledge of CSA N285.0, CSA B51, CSA N289 and ASME BPVC Section III, Knowledge of CANDU nuclear systems

Perform engineering work following QA programs
Demonstrate understanding technical documents
Prepare technical documents
and non-linear analyses
Support design and analysis of piping and support
Communicate with clients and suppliers
Provide technical assistance
Resolve technical queries
Prepare TSSA registration packages
Prepare requisitions or EQRs
Review supplier technical documents
Provide technical guidance
Perform field walk-downs
Support field construction and execution activities
Provide prompt response and engineering resolutions
Complete assigned scopes within budget and schedule
