What You'll Do.
Lead and oversee a broad portfolio of large-scale
cross-functional programs within the insurance domain.
Manage a team of approximately 10 direct reports (primarily program and project managers).
Assume end-to-end responsibility for delivering complex application development initiatives at enterprise scale.
Drive the adoption of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and agile transformation practices across programs.
Ensure operational excellence
and alignment with strategic business objectives.
Craft strategy and dive deep into project specifics to guarantee quality and success.
Responsible for all Program/Project management and delivery
Solution Architecture and standards in compliance with IT Governance
and IT budget at Business Unit.
Contribute to improvement / optimization of the IT governance.
Ensure the alignment of the Strategic Information Systems Plan with local business priorities and executes.
Manage key relationships with senior business.
Identify new business and efficiency potentials as trend scout of future customer.
Represent G-IT in the definition and delivery of IT services and programs to the local Business.
Responsible for local ASP retained staff including maintaining necessary knowledge.
Manage local relationship with outsourcing partners and their performance and services.
Oversee the planning and controlling of multiple tasks / multiple projects on a short term basis (1 year) and owns cost center budget.
Develop project concepts
create plans and oversee implementation of business solutions of moderate to high complexity.
Implement organizational governance.
Handle specific customer challenges (escalation).
Oversee regional / local planning on a mid term basis and owns budget of multiple cost centers or of a single large cost center.
Execute strategic plans.
Identify and pursue business and efficiency opportunities.
Improve organizational governance (e. g. optimizes processes).
Handle specific customer challenges of internal (& external) business partners
