What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of college or equivalent education and experience, Current state/province issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record, Ability to pass internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire, Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required
Nice to Have
1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience
What You'll Do.
Serve client families
Make at need cemetery arrangements
Sell pre-need arrangements
Provide exemplary personalized service
Generate revenue for the cemetery
Act as primary contact for families
Prospect a minimum of 1-2 hours each day
Obtain referrals from families served
Network and build community relationships
Explain and present presentations to families
Maintain and track activity levels
Respond to client inquiries
Connect with families
Develop understanding of family needs
Offer solutions that provide value
Stay in touch with families
Prepare for all appointments
Perform all procedures with professionalism
Follow through on customer problems
Follow through on customer requests
Build trust-based relationships
Offer protection to family members
Educate on benefits of pre-planning
Represent a continuous link from services
Collaborate and team with staff
Review previous services and contacts
Prepare to support current needs
Prepare to support sales
Share family concerns with team
