B. S. to PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Physics or closely related discipline, Good understanding of semiconductor FinFET fabrication process, Good understanding of semiconductor device physics, Basic knowledge and understanding of wafer/die level semiconductor Automated Test Equipment (ATE) tests, Basic knowledge and understanding of FA methodologies, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, Able to work in fast paced and multi-tasking environment, Able to work in fast paced environment, Able to work in multi-tasking environment, Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards

Able to refine complex FA data into Fab language summary in generating FA report, Hands-on experience on FA tools and techniques (SEM, FIB, PVC, OBIRCH & PEM), Hands-on experience on ATE systems such as Teradyne UFLEX, Advantest V93K or T2000, Able to interpret FA and electrical ATE test data from die level down to transistor level, Able to interpret and understand Wafer Level Reliability stress data such as TDDB, HCI, HTOL, Experience with layout software (Camelot and/or Avalon), Experience in handling customer returns FA, Experience in developing new FA techniques, Experience in automation scripts using Python

At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow. **Come innovate with us!** **Position Summary** The primary responsibility of this role is the electrical characterization of semiconductor IC devices using advanced nanoprobe systems such as SEM and AFM based systems. Tasks include setting up a testing plan for each assigned job, executing said plans on nanoprober systems, and reporting findings to internal and external customers. Nanoprobing techniques include EBAC / eBIRCH / IV / CV & Transistor Probing. Successful candidate would should have strong multi-tasking skills and be ready to contribute in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. **Role and Responsibilities** **Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:** * Conduct electrical characterization of semiconductor IC devices using nanoprobe systems. * Evaluate electrical characteristics to determine root cause of failures. Collaborate with Failure Analysis and Product Engineering teams. * Work autonomously or within a team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. * Recommend analysis approach based on customer’s failure mode data, optical fault isolation results and abilities. * Generate and compile reports to internal and external customers. * Maintain accurate records of experiments, data, and findings. * Maintain tools and equipment with first line maintenance. * Coordinate and work with vendor for larger issues. * Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards. **Skills and Qualifications** **Here 's what you'll need:** * B.S. to PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Physics or closely related discipline. * Good understanding of semiconductor FinFET fabrication process and semiconductor device physics (e.g Transistor, PN Junctions). * Basic knowledge an
