The role supports students in pursuing their educational goals and ensures they benefit fully from their University experience by assessing student academic progress and supporting students making appropriate educational choices and decisions. _**Primary Responsibilities:**_ **Advising:** * Provides individual and group advising to B.A. & Sc. undergraduate students on overall degree requirements and academic matters, including registration, course withdrawal, deferred and supplemental exams, readmission, interfaculty transfer, study away, and academic standing. * Authorizes academic course selection for the Foundation program. Evaluates records of advisees regarding the completion of their Foundation program. * Plans and develops preventive outreach programs for newly admitted students, students in poor academic standing, international students. * Plans, prepares, and presents workshops designed to assist students who wish to plan a study abroad, apply for interfaculty transfer, select their degree program, work after graduation, apply for graduate schools. * Provides information and guidance regarding advanced standing and
