Problems you'll solve

troubleshoot; diagnose; repair work on AC and DC motors and controls; troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems; Detect faulty operations; defective material; report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

Eligibility Requirements

Adhere to Larson’s safety guidelines and reporting process, Candidates for positions with Fortune Brands Outdoors & Security must be able to present proof of identity and work eligibility post hire., Immigration visa sponsorship is not available for this position and accordingly this position is not appropriate for foreign students who will require sponsorship in the future, including assistance with an Optional Practical Training (OPT) F-1 extension.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

troubleshooting skills, Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics, Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems, Basic machining and welding skills, Ability to work independently as well as part of a group, Ability to use professional use email and other computer programs (such as Microsoft Office), Knowledge of computer maintenance management system (CMMS) is required

Nice to Have

Ability to navigate via PLC operation sequence, I/O information, and instrumentation feedback is preferred

What You'll Do.

Perform manufacturing maintenance

and installation tasks of equipment

Repair and maintain machinery

including mechanical and electrical equipment

Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems

and operate machinery and equipment prior to releasing to manufacturing

but not be limited to

replacing electrical components

adjusting and aligning rollers

replacing defective parts

Use a variety of hand and power tools

and material handling equipment in performing duties

Detect faulty operations

and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

and repair work on AC and DC motors and controls

Adhere to Larson’s safety guidelines and reporting process
