Full Job Description
The Single-Family Office is a private entity established to manage the financial, legal, and personal affairs of one wealthy family exclusively. It oversees the family’s investments and long-term interests across public markets, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and other alternative assets. With a disciplined and long-term approach, the SFO focuses on capital preservation, sustainable growth, and strategic partnerships aligned with the family’s vision. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our building systems and grounds. The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and manage repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural areas Essential Responsibilities & Duties: * Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct scheduled inspections and servicing of HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and fire/safety equipment to prevent failures. * Repairs & Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting and hands-on repairs for electrical wiring, lighting, plumbing leaks, drywall, painting, door hardware and building automation systems. * Building Automation Systems: Monitor and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) and installed mechanical equipment. * Emergency Response: Serve as primary contact for facility-related emergencies (fire alarms, security alarms, power outages, leakages, or system failures) and respond promptly to on-call duties. * Contractor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and contract terms. * Building Upkeep: Managing general carpentry, drywall repair, painting, swimming pool servicing, cleaning A/C filters, furniture assembly, etc. * Grounds & Facility Upkeep: Perform or coordinate exterior maintenance, including parking lot and yards upkeep, repaint metal fence and wooden doors/windows, etc. * Documentation & Reporting: Mainta
