S. as a refugee or granted asylum, Blue’s Standard Background Check, Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation, Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10, 001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training, Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, understanding of mechanical design principles and practices, Proficiency in mechanical engineering software (e. g. , AutoCAD, Revit), Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced engineering technologies, Familiarity with sustainable design principles and practices, Previous internship or work experience in a mechanical engineering firm

The Facilities Mechanical Engineer II will support the design of new infrastructure and buildings under the guidance of a licensed engineer. This role is ideal for a candidate who has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and has the ambition to eventually obtain a Professional Engineering license. The successful candidate will assist in the production of design and construction documents, contributing to the delivery of high-quality mechanical engineering solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support the design of new infrastructure and buildings under the supervision of a licensed engineer. * Assist in the production of design and construction documents, including mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design alignment with project goals and objectives. * Conduct research and provide support for mechanical design solutions and concepts.
