Must Have
15+ years of experience in a lead role delivering Facilities management and site services within a large multi-national organization, Graduate degree and 12 years’ experience in facilities management or related areas such as Security, Environmental Health & Safety, capital construction projects or other similar highly operational roles, Master’s degree and 10 years’ experience in Facilities management or related areas such as Security, Environmental Health & Safety, capital construction projects or other similar operational roles
Nice to Have
Experience in customer service delivery with demonstrated accountability and ownership, Experience managing the performance of third-party integrated service providers, Proficient in supplier management including performance management and contract management, Knowledge of facilities work order management processes and systems, maintenance planning and scheduling processes, Budget Management: Forecasting, Purchase Order, and Invoice approval, managing to budget, Contract negotiation, vendor management or supply chain experience, Familiarity with major Telangana labor laws and regulations and any applicable works council requirements, Understanding of EHSS requirements within a laboratory facility including country, state and local applicable regulations, Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and adaptable, Flexible adjusting workload based on changing priorities, Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, Ability to navigate through conflict resolution with diplomacy, Familiarity within the life sciences industry, utilities systems, laboratories, manufacturing and common regulatory standards around the discovery, development, and production of human therapeutics, Familiarity in driving productivity through operational excellence and use of continuous improvement techniques such as lean, six-sigma etc., Ability to interpret impact of industry trends, new technologies etc., Familiarity with benchmarking and implementing best practices

## **Career Category** Operations ## ## **Job Description** **Facilities Manager (Level 5)** **Summary** Global Facilities Operations (GFO) is an organization within Engineering Operations and Services that is responsible for Facilities management, workplace services, laboratory equipment maintenance and laboratory services at Amgen sites globally. GFO’s mission is to provide a safe, reliable, and productive work environment to our Amgen colleagues in our offices, laboratories, and manufacturing plants. GFO works very closely with third-party Integrated Service Providers (ISPs) at delivering these services seamlessly to the business around the globe. In this essential role you will be the Global Facilities Operations (GFO) lead for Amgen based at our site at Hyderabad. . Under minimal direction this role will initially support the implementation of a chemical management program to be executed by a third-party ISP. In addition, other lab support services such as media and buffer preparation, lab consumables inventory management, and glass washing may be included. In due course, core Facilities management responsibilities would be added to the role. The Facilities Manager will be the main interface with the landlord and has primary responsibilities for the overall delivery of safe and reliable facilities and laboratory support services to our site in Hyderabad.
