About the Role Rapid Micro Biosystems is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our facilities and facility-based assets. This role is primarily based in Lowell, directly supporting manufacturing operations, with additional support to our Lexington site. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, enabling high-quality production in a regulated laboratory and manufacturing environment. We’re looking for someone who can balance technical execution, vendor management, and site leadership while driving safety, compliance, and cost efficiency. ## What You’ll Do Own day-to-day facilities operations supporting manufacturing, labs, cleanrooms, and office spaces Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities) Lead facility projects (minor and major), including capital improvements and space modifications Manage vendors and service providers, including cleaning services and specialized contractors Oversee cleaning and facility standards across labs and cle
