What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, or ability to pass within a year, Ambition to obtain a Professional Engineering (PE) license, 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc. ) and Microsoft Office Suite, Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
Experience with site design and construction documentation, Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to civil engineering projects, Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green infrastructure, Experience with industry standard softwares such as ICPR, WaterGEMs, etc., internship or co-op experience is a plus
What You'll Do.
Support the design and construction of new site infrastructure
Assist in the preparation and review of construction documents
Contribute to the design of site infrastructure such as roads
and retaining structures
Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions
Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create and modify design documents
Assist in site visits to gather data
monitor construction progress
and ensure compliance with design intent
Prepare field reports and provide recommendations based on observations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project goals are met; Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on design approaches and problem-solving
