Full Job Description
**Use Your Power for Purpose** The Facilities Electrical Engineer provides electrical and controls expertise to support site operations at the Pearl River, NY R&D site. This role is primarily focused on planning, oversight, and vendor management for facility electrical, power distribution, and automation systems (rather than day‑to‑day hands‑on electrical work). You will partner closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant facility operations, while contributing to capital planning, modernization efforts, and long‑term site strategies. This role offers strong opportunities for growth and development within Pfizer. You'll build new skills and gain diverse experiences within Pfizer’s dynamic environment. **** **What You Will Achieve** * Provide **engineering oversight and technical guidance** for facility electrical and controls systems in regulated laboratory and office environments * Oversee electrical engineering firms and contractor work related to power distribution, building systems, and critical utilities * Support **operations, maintenance programs, and capital projects** for: * Primary and backup power distribution systems * Building Management Systems (BMS), Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), security, and fire alarm systems * Facility and critical utility control systems * Contribute to **near- and long-term capital planning** , budgeting, and project execution * Provide technical input for **risk management, EHS, business continuity, and compliance** activities * Collaborate with Digital/Business Technology teams on facility-related automation and systems support * Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the Facilities/GWE organization **Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):** * Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equi
