Parallel Employment Group working with one of our customer in Lancaster NY for a Facilities Custodian who can assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning workplace for all employees and visitors. We’re looking for a dedicated **Facilities Custodian** to join our team on 2nd shift to support this mission through thorough cleaning, upkeep, and facility support across our buildings and grounds. **Job Title: Facilities Custodian – 2nd Shift** **Schedule:** 2nd Shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM **Compensation:** $21.00 – $26.00 per hour depending on experience **Qualifications:** * Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred * Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team * Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, as needed **Requirements** * Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in offices, production areas, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas. * Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch surfaces and equipment according to health and safety protocols. * Empty trash and recycling bins; manage proper waste disposal per safety and environmental regulations. * Maintain building exteriors and grounds, including light outdoor cleaning and trash removal. * Restock and monitor cleaning and hygiene supplies throughout the facilities. * Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues. * Support the preventive maintenance program in collaboration with the maintenance team. * Operate and maintain push or ride-on floor scrubbers in high-traffic areas. * Contribute to snow removal and sidewalk salting duties as needed for 2nd shift. * Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requiremen
