Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for OperationsFacilities Clerk. The purpose of this role is to Support departmental operations through task scheduling, SAP administration, and customer service. Kumba Iron Ore We produce high-grade iron ore, the key component in steel, widely used in construction and manufacturing across the world. Our activities include all aspects – exploration; mining; processing and blending; shipping; marketing and selling. In South Africa, we have mining operations in the Northern Cape province, as well as a head office in Gauteng, and a port operation in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape. As our Facilities Clerk your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Safety. Health, and Environment * Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures. * Maintain good housekeeping in work areas to support a controlled and safe working environment. * Actively participate in SLAMs, HPHs, risk assessments, and close-out of safety actions. Performance and Delivery Planning and Scheduling: * Plan and schedule daily and weekly tasks related to Facilities Management to ensure smooth operational flow. * Track, prioritise and confirm allocated job cards to support the timely completion of tasks. * Monitor progress on facilities-related activities and escalate delays or risks as needed. * Prepare and submit weekly deviation reports and follow up on outstanding actions. * Open urgent work job cards promptly after reporting and ensure proper routing for approval and execution. Facilities Administration (Operational & SAP): * Receive, record and action customer requests and complaints, ensuring these are timeously converted into job ca
