What You'll Do.
Receive joined fabric from joiners and inspect for straight hems and proper pattern alignment.
Read work tickets carefully to determine shade type and required measurements.
Trim fabric accurately to specified dimensions.
Follow all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Participate in daily housekeeping.

Position Overview The Trim and Square position plays a key role in the production process by receiving joined fabric and accurately trimming it to specific measurements. What you'll do Receive joined fabric from joiners and inspect for straight hems and proper pattern alignment. Read work tickets carefully to determine shade type and required measurements. Trim fabric accurately to specified dimensions. Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE; report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment. Use tools like staple guns and saws safely; wear safety glasses when required. Maintain a clean and organized work area; participate in daily housekeeping.
