Must Have

Fabric Engineering apprenticeship or similar, C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds, Proven post apprenticeship practical experience, Good communication & interpersonal skills, Commitment to providing a high-quality service to our customer, Willing to work flexibly and as a team member, Ability to work overtime as required, Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff, Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation, Have good IT and report writing skills, Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints

What You'll Do.

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance

Fire door maintenance and repair

Weekly fire alarm testing

AHU Cleaning & Servicing

Basic plumbing and drainage repairs

Patch repairs to wall and floor tiling

Suspended ceiling repairs

Painting & Decorating

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance

Undertake PPM activity

Production of technical and situational reports

Use the technology systems given

Communicate clearly and effectively

Provide first line out of hours call out

Writing activity reports

Assisting management team to produce quotations

Attending team meetings/briefings

Provide accurate time sheet information

Ensure that the Company is always presented

Undertake reactive maintenance works

Escalate any major site issues or incidents

Manage Integral sub-contractors

Environmental and Quality legislation

Ensure materials and equipment are handled

Actively participate in health and safety processes

Any other reasonable instruction

Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward. **_Fabric Maintenance Engineer_** **Location** : Reading **Role Purpose** Carry out planned and reactive maintenance. **Main Duties & Responsibilities:** • General Carpentry • Fire door maintenance and repair • Weekly fire alarm testing • Weekly tap flushing • AHU Cleaning & Servicing • Basic plumbing and drainage repairs • Patch repairs to wall and floor tiling, carpets, lino & screeds • Suspended ceiling repairs • Shelving /racking • Lock changes/repairs • Painting & Decorating • Working hours as part of the sites shift pattern. • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company’s PPM and task schedules. • Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner. • Production of technical and situational reports as required. • Proactively use the technology systems given to you so that the Company can be always compliant with its contractual obligations. • Carry out the works always requested in a professional and proactive manner. • To always communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clients. • Provide first line out of hours call out for the site. • Writing activity reports in line with Company procedures accurately and timely. • Proactively assisting the management team to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information where extra works are identified. • Attending team meetings/briefings as requested. • To provide accurate time sheet
