What They're Looking For.
Must Have
one to three months related experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience
What You'll Do.
fabrication of metal tubing both rigid and flexible
polishing according to specifications
performs visual and dimensional checks on materials
components and finished products
salvage parts from assemblies and repair rigid and/or flexible tube assemblies
perform various functions by hand and utilizes hand tools to prepare hose for assembly including removing rubber to buff back ends for fittings
connect fittings to hose
and other assembly preparations
sets up and operates abrasive
and sizing equipment such as swager or crimper
and removes work pieces from machines
reads and interprets blueprints
policies and procedures to manufacture a variety of rigid and flexible metal tubes
measures angular dimensions
and other specifications
performs a variety of quality tests per procedures
holds tape and rods and marks reference points to assist in layout
attaches clamps to position work piece to be cut
cleans and blows out dust
and metal shavings from work piece prior to fabricating
