Must Have
Demonstrated experience with CNC routers, laser cutters, 3D printers, or other digital prototyping equipment, Use computer-aided design software confidently to prepare and interpret files for fabrication workflows, Hold a relevant qualification and experience in digital and analogue fabrication, or equivalent education and training, Provide effective supervision to junior staff or students, supporting consistent, high-quality service delivery, Demonstrate customer service and communication skills when supporting diverse student and staff cohorts, Apply sound understanding of workshop safety, OHS procedures, and incident management in practical environments, Current valid work rights for Australia, Working with Children Check
What You'll Do.
Lead daily operations in digital fabrication lab
Mentor staff and student technicians
Champion digital fabrication service excellence
Oversee daily Digital Fabrication Lab operations
Supervise technicians and student interns
Uphold and improve OHS practices
Monitor and support machine maintenance
Troubleshoot machine faults
Coordinate maintenance plans
Deliver and refine training for staff and users
Provide expert consultations
