Demonstrated experience with CNC routers, Demonstrated experience with laser cutters, Demonstrated experience with 3D printers, Demonstrated experience with digital prototyping equipment, Use computer-aided design software confidently, Relevant qualification in digital fabrication, Relevant qualification in analogue fabrication, Equivalent education and training, Effective supervision to junior staff, Effective supervision to students, Customer service skills, Communication skills, Sound understanding of workshop safety, Sound understanding of OHS procedures, Sound understanding of incident management
Nice to Have
Experience in digital fabrication, Experience in analogue fabrication
What You'll Do.
Oversee daily Digital Fabrication Lab operations
Provide design-for-fabrication support
Manage job scheduling
Monitor point-of-sale
Supervise technicians
Supervise student interns
Ensure adherence to lab procedures
Ensure adherence to lab rules
Ensure adherence to high service standards
Improve OHS practices
Contribute to safety procedures
Contribute to incident management
Contribute to student supervision
Monitor machine maintenance
Support machine maintenance
