Job Description As a Shift Technician, you are responsible for monitoring, sustaining and improving the equipment and/or processes in the assigned area, while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers. Shift Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to trouble-shoot and repair equipment. **Responsibilities:** * Monitor equipment performance and report issues to senior technicians or engineers. * Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on assigned tool sets. * Use basic mechanical, electronic, and computer skills to assist with trouble-shooting and repairs. * Follow established procedures and safety protocols when working with equipment and chemicals. * Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and tool performance. * Support continuous improvement efforts by learning and applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles. * Communicate clearly with team members across shifts to ensure smooth operations. Participate in training and development programs to build technical and professional skills. * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support daily operations. Demonstrate a commitment to Micron’s standards for Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Business Continuity. **Minimum Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), including standing for long periods and lifting equipment.
