Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2 + year of experience in Validation & Verification in Engineering and Project Management OR Master's Degree in OR JD/PhD in engineering, eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
Nice to Have
Function Management Engineering Experience, Experience leading or managing a team for execution of a program or in support of a functional skillset, Familiarity with external customer interfaces, engine assembly, and testing experience at a system level.
What You'll Do.
providing technical support to a multi-functional integrated product team (IPT)
applying a systems engineering approach to create new systems or modify existing ones
control and deliver managed change (including new solutions) to meet all agreed stakeholder requirements
planning and delivering verification programs to ensure that Rolls-Royce's products meet business
customer and regulatory requirements
Prepare cost and schedule estimates
manage project control accounts
support development engine/sub-system build and test activities
and develop engine/sub-system certification/qualification plans
participate in product introduction gated reviews
allocate requirements to major sub-systems
Ensure project risks (technical
supply chain and timescale) are identified
managed (including integration of risk activities in project plan)
and escalated in accordance with risk management plan
Understand experiment/test requirements and turn them into test schedules and subsequently test instructions
managing manufacturing or engineering subcontracts for design-make components
coordinating experiments (rig
engine and/or flight testing) including instrumentation and data analysis requirements
Define the necessary resource to achieve stakeholder requirements
negotiate with resource managers
in conjunction with Work Package Manager (WPO) and Sub-System Manager (SSM)
and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to balance load and capacity across the IPT
