What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Candidate must currently hold and maintain “Safe for Flight” certification, Minimum of 5 years' experience on F-18 platform, Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Controller, Willing to work variable including days, evenings, nights and weekends
Nice to Have
Experience with recent aircraft organizational level maintenance is required, Read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components, Fighter Structural modification experience, Fighter Electrical modification experience
What You'll Do.
organizes and controls the maintenance and repairs and the release of F-18 aircraft
Supervise and coordinate maintenance efforts on assigned shift
to meet the daily flight schedule
Inspect the aircraft to certify that all maintenance performed by the team is correct and complete
