What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication methods, DoDD 8140 / 8570 compliant with a CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent baseline certification, Hands-on experience administering Windows or Linux systems in an enterprise environment, including virtualized environments and troubleshooting hardware/OS issues, Experience with enterprise backup and recovery tools, hardware RAID, encryption technologies, and server management utilities
Nice to Have
Active DoD Secret clearance, Advanced degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, Experience with virtualization, Windows or Linux system administration, and enterprise backup/recovery tools, Experience with workstation deployment, data migration, cloning techniques, and supporting desktop hardware, Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and core network services (DC, DNS, DHCP), along with incident/service request systems and OS troubleshooting
