Must Have
5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education
Nice to Have
9+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education, B. S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Composite Fabrication experience, Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers, Experience with 3D model-based instruction, Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi- Monitor Collaborative Rooms, Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci), Experience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc. )
What You'll Do.
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions into the production environment.
Participates in developing
identifying and implementing conceptual designs and maintaining the program architecture for build.
Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
Analyzes designuild concepts to evaluate producible designuild definitions.
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles
advanced technologies and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Implements lean principles and technologies.
