The Medical Assisting Externship Coordinator plays a vital role in bridging the gap between classroom instruction and hands-on workforce experience. This position manages all aspects of the externship process—including site development, student placement, compliance, and documentation with the ultimate goal of converting externship opportunities into employment outcomes. The Externship Coordinator fosters strong partnerships with healthcare employers who are seeking to hire qualified graduates and ensures students begin and complete their externship modules on time. By supporting both students and externship sites, this role directly contributes to program completion, graduate employment benchmarks, and institutional compliance with accreditation standards * Secure, maintain, and expand a network of externship sites that prioritize externship-to-hire conversions. * Coordinate student externship placements to ensure 100% on-time starts with the beginning of the externship module. * Monitor studen
