Full Job Description

Manulife John Hancock Investments, a division of Manulife Financial, is a premier global provider of asset management and investment solutions. We are seeking an External Wholesaler to drive sales by deepening relationships with existing clients and developing new business across the full suite of JHIM products. This role provides coverage of financial advisors across multiple channels and offers significant growth potential for the right candidate. **Position Responsibilities:** * Distribute a comprehensive product lineup, including Mutual Funds, ETFs, 529 plans, UCITS, SMAs, DCIO, and Private Placement offerings * Build and strengthen client relationships by delivering timely product insights, capital markets perspective, and practice management support—while providing exceptional service * Execute a disciplined, high-activity sales approach across in-person meetings, virtual meetings, calls, and proactive follow-up * Generate new business through targeted prospecting and pipeline development * Represent John Hancock Investment Management at conferences, seminars, and sales meetings (both in-person and virtual) * Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including your assigned Internal Wholesaler and home office teams * Effectively manage the territory by leveraging available resources (product specialists, portfolio consultants) and optimizing travel and entertainment spend **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred * 3–5+ years of asset management wholesaling experience required * Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses required * CFA or CIMA designation preferred * Strong communication and presentation skills—both in-person and virtual * Proven time management, organizational, and technology skills * Established relationships within the local market preferred **Territory** : Greater Seattle & Alaska **When you join our team:** * We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. * We’ll recognize and support you in a fle
