High-level consultative and active listening skills, Compelling presentation abilities, Proficient verbal and written communication, self-discipline and demonstrated initiative, High level of comfort with computers, mobile devices, software including advanced knowledge of Manulife illustration system and a general knowledge level of the MS Office suite of products (with a focus on Excel), knowledge of competitive positioning, Ability to develop, organize and deliver proposals, business cases and PowerPoint presentations, In-depth knowledge of the Insurance sales process, Established ability to persuade and negotiate, High level of social and relationship-building skills, Foster and build relationships to engage and influence others, Thrive in a competitive environment, Demonstrated time-management skills, Proven team player and mentor, Business Planning Skills, Basic understanding of industry / regulatory / legal environment and issues, Successful completion of LLQP

Nice to Have

Previous training/education experience is an asset, Previous knowledge of Manulife Affinity products and systems preferred, Attained or working on relevant professional designations (CLU, CFP, CHS or CH. F. C. )

What You'll Do.

Manage the Western Sales region (British Columbia and Alberta)

Evolve existing advisor relationships and cultivate new ones

Promote client-centric solutions that increase Affinity Markets sales

Promote the suite of Manulife Affinity Insurance solutions (Health & Dental

simple-issue Disability and Critical Illness insurance) to top advisors

Identify opportunities and activities to support and grow advisors’ businesses

analyze & refine strategies and tactics to achieve/exceed sales targets

Assist in developing and implementing plans designed to provide “best in class” marketing support and new sales ideas to advisors

Build and maintain relationships with key advisors and Intermediaries

Create professional working relationships with other Manulife field partners

Consistently maintain agreed upon levels of face-to-face contact with advisors in the sales territory

Record daily activities using Salesforce.com

Conduct sales and marketing meetings and seminars with advisors and Intermediaries

Train on Manulife Affinity solutions and approved sales and marketing concepts

Assist in developing sales opportunities with new and existing clients

Raise any service-related issues on behalf of advisors

Develop and share best practices

marketing and business development ideas with peers and advisors

Adherence to the highest ethical standards

Perform front line business risk management function through awareness

support and implementation of compliance and company policies with advisors

Supervision of sales-related activities
