What They're Looking For.

Must Have

College diploma in Business, Sales, or Marketing, 1+ year of experience in the recycling industry, Valid Class 5 driver’s license, Customer service skills, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Excellent math skills, Problem-solving skills, Negotiation skills, Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Willing and able to travel, Bilingual (French/English), Leadership skills, Excellent communication skills, Team-oriented, Collaboration skills, Ability to analyze, Able to set and manage priorities, Solid understanding of organizational management

Nice to Have

Equivalent education or experience, Experience in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, Familiar with CRM systems, Knowledge of metal alloy identification

What You'll Do.

Meet or exceed tonnage targets

Visit dealerships and industrial suppliers

Generate new business

Generate repeat business

Deliver customer service

Prospect new customers

Visit individuals and small businesses

Develop reliable networks

Obtain pricing information

Obtain market information

Negotiate new contracts

Leverage yard operations knowledge

Make informed pricing decisions

Coordinate with administrative staff

Coordinate with commercial team

Ensure accurate documentation

Ensure timely documentation

Provide feedback on scrap pricing

Complete special projects
