What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5–7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Big Data platforms, or related enterprise data environments, expertise in Hadoop ecosystem, Oracle databases, ETL frameworks, Linux server administration, and distributed data processing systems, Proven experience designing and managing enterprise-scale data pipelines along with workflow orchestration, monitoring frameworks, and data quality processes, scripting and automation skills using Shell scripting, Python, or similar technologies with a focus on operational excellence and reliability, Deep understanding of ASN. 1 and telecom data domains including Fraud Management, Billing, and Revenue Assurance, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to resolve complex production issues and work effectively across cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
Experience with enterprise telecom data environments and large-scale distributed systems, Exposure to data governance, metadata management, and operational analytics, Knowledge of scheduling and orchestration tools such as Oozie, Airflow, or Control-M, Familiarity with production support processes, SLA management, and incident handling, Understanding of scalable architecture patterns and performance optimization techniques for big data systems
