What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required, Minimum of 2 years of related experience required, design portfolio, typography skills, Must demonstrate skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design and environments, Must be analytical and an independent thinker, Proficiency on Macintosh in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required, design orientation, communication skills, ability to collaborative well, attention to detail are essential
Nice to Have
skills in AutoCAD and Sketchup a plus
What You'll Do.
Involvement in all phases of the design process from conceptual development through artwork production
Participate in recommendations for concept
and production for a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics
Under direct supervision and partnership with the environmental graphics team
design a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics
print layouts for exhibits and signage
work with selected clients and participate in the interpretation and translation of their expressed needs and ideas into concepts
Prepare photo visualizations and mockups of proposed signage for placement
Prepare camera-ready artwork for fabrication
Work with vendors/fabricators
