## ## **Experienced Veterinary Assistant – General Practice** **VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park | Full-Time** VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park is seeking an **Experienced Veterinary Assistant** to join our **General Practice team full time**! Our full-service clinic offers: * General pet wellness care * Veterinary surgery * Advanced diagnostics * Preventive medicine and client education We are AAHA-accredited, demonstrating the highest level of veterinary medical care and client service. We are proud of our strong reputation and strive to exceed expectations every day. **Veterinary Assistant Duties** * Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery * Collecting patient histories and assisting with physical exams * Venipuncture and IV catheter placement * Laboratory sample collection and processing * IV, IM, and Subcutaneous medication administration * Client education and counseling * Working collaboratively with veterinarians and all hospital departments * Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to all patients ## **Schedule -Full time** **Monday–Friday:** 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM **Rotating Saturdays:** 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM _Flexible scheduling available_ ## **Compensation** **$17 – $26 per hour** , based on skill set, experience, and licensure status * **Veterinary Assistant (VA):** $17 – $20/hr * **Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT):** $20 – $26/hr ## **What Makes All Animal Hospital of Orange Park Unique?** Our leadersh
