Must Have

7-12 years of experience in transportation engineering, A bachelor’s or master’s degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related major (e. g. , geography, math, statistics, economics), Currently hold or plan to hold a professional engineer’s (PE) license, Experience applying MUTCD, and AASHTO design standards on a variety of projects, Familiarity with ODOT and local agency design and operations standards and experience applying them on Oregon projects, Experience with preparing and reviewing signing, striping, and traffic signal plans, Safety countermeasure selection and design, Familiarity with mobility issues and how they affect transportation engineering, Experience leading proposals and nurturing client relationships, Interest and experience with mentoring and training staff

You will be involved in generating conceptual designs and construction documents, collaborating with staff at all levels conducting field work, coordinating closely with members of complete streets engineering and planning teams, engaging in discussions with clients and communities, and on-the-job training.     Your main focus will be to offer innovative and well-thought-out design solutions that align with client objectives and adhere to the latest best practices established by NACTO and similar organizations.
