Experienced Propulsion Engineer **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA)** is seeking an **Experienced Propulsion Engineer (Level 3)** to support our 787 Nacelle Service Engineering team based in **Seal Beach, CA**. In this role, as as propulsion engineer you will learn how to directly support customer technical inquiries and advocate customer issues within Boeing. The assignment would cover emergent-short flow inquiries as well as long flow predictive-proactive projects. The participant would learn to perform independent research as well as coordinate with internal groups and external partners/suppliers. The Propulsion Service engineering team is a fast-paced organization that works directly with our customers to provide world class customer support 24/7, 365. **Position Responsibilities:** 787 Nacelle Service Engineering | Review, coordinate, disposition customer inquiries/issues: * Research for prior solutions * Assess issues for potential safety items * Customer Engagement * Provides a technical presentation to an audience. (both internal and external customers) * Supplier and internal team coordination and relationship building * Identifies high (recurring/costly) priority customer issues * Provides technical/project management support for technical projects The participant may also be asked to support: * Our larger Propulsion Service Engineering team, including APU, Main Engines, Fuels, or other Propulsion Equipment with similar tasks * Continuous improvement / process efficiency activities **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry * 3+ years of experience with aircraft systems, structures, or propulsion **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** * 5+ years' related work experience * 3+ years of experience in propulsion structures and rep
