What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A degree in engineering or equivalent, Ability to occasionally travel and support client site visits and plant walkdowns, Technical knowledge in the mechanical / structural engineering domain, Experience with Finite Element Analysis (including Abaqus, Ansys or LS Dyna), Experience with design codes and standards, such as ASME III, ASME VIII, API579, BS7608, BS7910, PD 5500, BS EN 13445, BS EN 13480, Experience with fracture mechanics and the R6 assessment procedure
Nice to Have
MEng, MSc or PhD would be desirable, Knowledge of high temperature assessment to R5 would be advantageous, but not essential, Experience in a technical consultancy environment, Experience of business development, Experience of building client relationships, Experience of project management
