WHAT YOU’LL DO We look for an Experienced Commodity Trader who has expertise in the commodity markets. Key skillset requirements include: Sound understanding of the logistics and supply chain of commodity trading; understand the major factors that impact supply and demand; understand the behaviour of different players in the markets; understand the role currencies play in global commodity trading Deep understanding in the market structure and drivers of agricultural/ferrous/chemical/metallic commodities, including supply and demand, positioning, flow, etc. Has strong risk culture and understands limitations of fundamental research Strong trading mindset. Always think about how to convert research outcome into a tradable strategy and maximize the trading outcome Critical and data driven Have sharp eyes for opportunities, eager to learn and to improve Engagement in the industrial community, including producers, smelters, or downstream manufacturers Quantitative skillset is not required but a plus WHAT YOU’LL NEED To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have the below skills and experience.
