Exercise Planner **The Opportunity:** Do you want to use your creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to improve organizational mission performance in global defense? As an exercise planner, you will provide technical services to perform operational planning analysis, exercise support, and project management associated with efficient execution and management. As a part our team, you’ll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content using Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint to help you tell a realistic story. You’ll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a space for recommendations that will make a lasting, real-world impact. The world can’t wait. **You Have:** * 5+ years of experience with planning at an operational or higher level HQ staff such as Corps, DRU, ASCC, or ACOM * 4+ years of experience planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program * Experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP) * Knowledge of Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and the Office 365 environment * Ability to take an exercise from concept phase, produce a plan, and prepare and provide a senior-level concept of operation briefs * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time * Secret clearance * Bachelor’s degree * Graduate of a Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or Component Education **Nice If You Have:** * 8+ years of experience at the Brigade level or above * Experience managing an exer
