What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Significant leadership experience in Line 1 risk, operational risk, compliance risk or related risk disciplines within financial services or similarly complex, regulated environments, Proven experience leading large, high-performing and multi-layered teams through change, growth and capability uplift, ability to influence and partner with senior executives and stakeholders across complex organisations, Demonstrated success embedding proactive risk cultures and improving organisational risk capability and maturity, Deep understanding of operational risk frameworks, governance, controls, issues and incident management, and regulatory obligations, Strategic thinking capability, judgement and the ability to balance customer, commercial and risk outcomes, Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to simplify complexity and challenge constructively, Experience operating in fast-paced, transformational environments with competing priorities and enterprise-level complexity, A passion for developing people, coaching and building strong, engaged teams
