Full Job Description
Salary: £37,000–£42,000 (depending on experience) Holiday: 20 days per year plus statutory holidays and Jewish festivals Location: UK-based (with regular in-person delivery and stakeholder engagement) – BBYO offices in Elstree, NW London Reporting to: Chair of Trustees (on behalf of the Board of Trustees) Hours: Full-time, with occasional evening and weekend work (time off in lieu / flexibility expected) Pre-employment checks: Satisfactory references and Enhanced DBS Disclosure. BBYO is an inclusive and welcoming movement where Jewish teens of all backgrounds find belonging, develop their Jewish identity and build lifelong skills. We create meaningful experiences that resonate with teens today, supporting and empowering teen leaders to foster community and leadership. The Executive Director (ED) is the organisation’s senior staff leader, responsible for the overall management and delivery of BBYO UK’s programmes, safeguarding, fundraising, communications, partnerships and operational systems. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and volunteers, the ED will ensure BBYO UK is well-run, financially sustainable, and consistently growing the number of teens engaged in high quality BBYO programmes. Key Responsibilities Leadership attend and report to board meetings, seek and build board involvement with strategic direction. Lead, coach, and develop BBYO UK’s staff Ensure effective systems to track progress, regularly evaluate programme components, and measure successes that can be effectively communicated to key stakeholders Prepare the annual budget, and event / experience budgets, liaise with the Treasurer to establish financial policy, procedures and ensure fiscal health of
