**Location:** Salt Lake City, Utah **Snowbird** is situated in the middle of the Wasatch Mountain Range and is not only home to awe-inspiring views and mighty terrain, it is also home to employees equally as remarkable. Snowbird is continually looking for the best, those who share a passion for these mountains and the outdoors. Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. **TITLE:** Event Technician **LOCATION:** Snowbird **STATUS:** Part-time and full-time available **SCHEDULE:** Varies, must be available on weekends and holidays **COMPENSATION:** $19/Hour **SUMMARY** As an Event Technician at Snowbird under the direction of the Event Technology Manager you will run lighting, audio, IT, and video. Takes direction from management in Food and Beverage, Special Events, and Conference Operations. Assists in whatever duties necessary. The ideal candidate will have great communications skills, customer service experience, and leadership. **WHAT YOU 'LL DO** * Mix live sound for bands, performers and conferences. * Perform basic networking. * Video and audio record events. * Large and small venue projection, knowledge of PowerPoint, and video switching/scaling. * Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair audio, visual, and lighting equipment pre, post, and during events. * Set up and tear down for events and performs tech functions. * Develop working relationships with new clients and interact professionally with them at all times, as well as with return customers. * Help clients meet their expectations for their events using Snowbird's technology. * Assist other departments within the resort with any needs that may arise. **WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE** * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * 12+ months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must have a Valid Driver License w/ clean MVR (driving record) * Some administrative d
