What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Possession of valid Security License (Bill C-159) mandatory, Smart Serve Certificate within the last 4 years is required, Availability to work days, evenings, weekends or nights as deployed/instructed
Nice to Have
Sports & Entertainment environment experience is a definite asset, Experience in public relations and risk management an asset
What You'll Do.
and empower the department’s security services staff
Ensure the provision of outstanding
professional security services
Ensure the safety of fans and employees through effective crowd management
Ensure adherence by fans and employees to MLSE policies and procedures
Ensure timely and effective reporting and follow-up on all incidents
Oversee and manage third-party contractors
Act as ‘Manager on Duty’ representing Security services as deployed at MLSE venues
Maintain a thorough understanding of Event Security Staff Collective Bargaining Agreements in foster positive employerployee relations accordingly
Assist Uniform matters including inventory and upkeep
Adhere to MLSE service standards
Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
