Must Have
Bachelor's degree, Minimum of 5 years of experience in program evaluation, learning, impact measurement, or related work, Experience developing evaluation frameworks, theories of change, surveys, and data collection processes, quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, Ability to synthesize research and data into clear, accessible insights for diverse audiences, organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, Excellent written, presentation, and facilitation skills, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners, Demonstrated ability to support strategic planning, program learning, and continuous improvement efforts

What You'll Do.
Develop and implement data collection tools
and evaluation processes to support STEM Pathways initiatives and grantmaking activities.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program outcomes
and inform continuous improvement efforts.
Monitor existing grantee performance through outcome tracking and analysis
and prepare reports and data-informed narratives on portfolio impact and progress.
Support the development of a new open call focused on creating centers of excellence at HBCUs
including developing eligibility criteria and defining measures of success for the request for proposals.
Collaborate with colleagues across the foundation to align evaluation approaches with existing priorities
Work with the VP for Special Projects and International Relationships and the SVP for SSC to create a process for reviewing Institutional Partners
like Math for America.
Help maintain benchmarks
and reporting processes that support effective tracking of portfolio progress and outcomes.
Partner with the Director
STEM Pathways and Program Manager
STEM Pathways to develop and refine theories of change
and outcomes for the STEM Pathways portfolio.
Lead the development of a standardized portfolio evaluation framework to support consistent measurement
and impact assessment across initiatives.
Contribute to the development of periodic portfolio reports and presentations for leadership

Attend select conferences

Full Job Description
**POSITION SUMMARY** Reporting to the Director, STEM Pathways, the Evaluation and Impact Manager will support the foundation’s efforts to assess program effectiveness, measure impact, and translate data into actionable insights that inform program strategy and grantmaking primarily within the STEM Pathways portfolio. This role will help develop and implement data collection tools, evaluation frameworks, and reporting processes that advance the foundation’s mission to build equitable STEM pathways for individuals pursuing careers in STEM. The Manager will lead the development of a standardized portfolio evaluation framework, including indicators, outcomes, and reporting approaches aligned with the STEM Pathways theory of change. The role will also support the creation of impact reports, and other learning materials for internal and external stakeholders. The Manager will also be expected to advise on the existing portfolio and make recommendations on future funding decisions. They will also work beyond the scope of STEM Pathways and support colleagues when thinking about Institutional Partners and how we might evaluate impact there. The ideal candidate brings experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, program evaluation, impact measurement, and learning practices, along with the ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and partner organizations.
