The Role: The ESW Manual Test Engineer is responsible for testing the next generation devices including input, gaming and connected devices. Your Contribution: Be Yourself. Be Open. In this role you will: * Follow the test strategy based on the device requirements which is made by ESW EVT Test Team. * To create ESW EVT test plans and test cases * To execute the ESW EVT test cycles * To create and maintain test reports * Read functional spec documents to create the test cases * Find out FW bugs for the NPI products * Discuss the FW & spec documents bugs with FW owners & architectures * Discuss the FW bugs from the other teams * Familiar to use analyzer in the tests * Write the test script with LUA language Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: * Strong understanding of product functionality and quality testing requirement * Strong understanding of the product test process and development lifecycle. * Extensive experience in testing USB/wireless device compatibility/Functionality Windows and Mac * Extensive experience on test devices using and maintaining * Excellent oral and written communication skills In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include: * Experience in playing PC/console games using keyboards, mice, console, wheel, etc * Experience in writing, updating and modifying test scripts/tools * Experience in Jira * Experience in testing USB/wireless device compatibility on iOS,Android,Linux or Chrome OS * Good knowledge of USB, Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE protocols Education: * BS in Computer Science ,electronic or testing related technical field * 2 years hands on experience in product & embedded software test
