Construction-related quotations or estimating experience, Proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications
Nice to Have
Experience with waterworks products, Prior use of Planswift or similar estimating software, Familiarity with customer quotations software, Experience reading blueprints, building plans, or drawings
What You'll Do.
Gather data for quote preparation
Contact vendors for job quotes
Determine project scope
Keep current of new products
Follow up on customer quotes
Coordinate with vendors for pricing
Resolve pricing issues
Analyze specifications
Assess cost-effectiveness
Send completed quotes
Confer with owners on cost estimates
Maintain bid calendar
Develop product knowledge
Recommend products and services
Assist Project Managers
Identify project resources
Establish sales relationships
Participate in pricing initiatives
Participate in associate meetings
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work directly with partners and clients; Establish close relationships with branches, vendor representatives; Work closely with more experienced brand/product managers; Confer with owners, contractors, and subcontractors; Participate in associate meetings
Communication Scope
Excellent communication skills; Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Process & Methodology
Assist Project Managers with execution of project, Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project
