Construction-related quotations or estimating experience, Proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications
Nice to Have
Experience with waterworks products, Prior use of Planswift or similar estimating software, Familiarity with customer quotations software, Experience reading blueprints, building plans, or drawings
What You'll Do.
Gather data for quote preparation
Contact vendors for job quotes
Determine project scope
Keep current of new products
Follow up on customer quotes
Coordinate with vendors for pricing data
Resolve pricing related issues
Analyze specifications
Assess cost-effectiveness of products
Track actual costs relative to bids
Send completed quotes
and subcontractors on changes
Maintain a bid calendar
Develop knowledge of organization's products
Recommend products and services
Assist Project Managers with project execution
and develop sales relationships
Participate in corporate-wide initiatives
Participate in associate meetings

As a Quotations Specialist, you will help with the development of quotations on Waterworks projects while establishing close relationships with the branches, vendor representatives, and ensuring outstanding customer service.
