We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as an** _Estimator/Planner._** This position reports to the Planning Manager. **THE ROLE:** The key responsibilities of the **_Estimator/Planner_** are: * Reviewing and analyzing new projects prior to commencing pre-production/production work * Gathering information in preparation for calculating estimates for jobs * Analyzing previous job tickets, if available, to review prior time, cost, materials and labour to offer general advice on improving future production runs * Determining the amount of paper/substrates, ink, and finishing materials required * Calculating unit and production costs for digital, hybrid and conventional flexographic projects * Identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative materials or production methods to the Sales & Customer Service Department and clients * Utilizing Print Management Information Systems (e.g. Label Traxx) to generate estimates * Creating detailed, written quotations outlining timelines, pricing, and delivery terms * Revising estimates as needed when project specifications change * Reviewing job tickets and specifications for accuracy before releasing projects to the production floor * Collaborating with production teams to navigate potential manufacturing challenge
