Estimator

**Job Title:** Estimator **Location:** Remote (South Africa) **Job Type:** Full-Time **Working Hours:** US Hours (9am - 5pm EST) **Salary:** Paid in South African Rands (ZAR) **Key Responsibilities** * Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate flooring estimates * Perform quantity take-offs and cost calculations for labor, materials, and project-related expenses * Prepare and submit competitive proposals and quotations within required deadlines * Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and product information * Collaborate with sales, project management, and operations teams to ensure accurate project scope and pricing * Maintain and update estimating databases and pricing records * Track bid statuses and assist with follow-up communication as needed * Ensure all estimates align with company standards, budgets, and client requirements * Identify potential risks, discrepancies, or cost-saving opportunities within project plans **Requirements** * Previous experience as an Estimator within the flooring, construction, or related industry * Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation processes, and project costing * Proficiency in estimating and CRM software, including Stack, Callidus, and PlanSwift * Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications * Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel **Benefits** 1.
